This project involved the construction of a new 5-storey office building with 22,000 square feet of floor space per storey. It targets LEED GOLD certification requirements with the use of geothermal energy, an air-conditioning/heating system adapted to the positioning of the sun as well as the installation of equipment and services fostering ecological transportation. Seven LEED points are also linked to this aspect. Blondin Fortin & Associates was nominated for this project within the framework of the 2012 edition of the AQME’s annual Energia competition.
