In the wake of a competition by the Town of Blainville, Blondin Fortin & Associates contributed, with a team of professionals that included Cosoltec Inc. and Menkès Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux Architects, to the design and construction of Blainville’s new Paul-Mercier Municipal Library.
This new 2-storey 3,079-square metre building was erected on a 7,500-square metre site located at the northwest corner of De la Mairie Street and Plan-Bouchard Road. Moreover, this $12 million project was required to meet basic LEED certification criteria.
