This project called for the construction of a new training system simulating free falls, i.e., a vertical wind tunnel for skydiving professionals and amateurs. This 14R1400 free-fall simulator from the American company Sky Venture LLC consists of a wind tunnel measuring 14 square feet in diameter and recycling air using 1,400 HP (four 350-HP ventilators each). The first Sky Venture in Canada, this facility provides an almost perfect recreation of a true free-fall experience, making it the leading choice of sky divers of all levels.
